Alex Kinkead
With over 10 years of experience as an optician in Boston and Omaha, Alex boasts a strong eye for detail and a vast knowledge of opticianry. He combines his interest in style, comfort, and shape with a deep understanding of progressive and single-vision prescription needs to help customers achieve their perfect look. Alex’s ultimate goal is to ensure everyone’s needs are met with care.

Steve Kinkead
As co-owner, Steve brings his experience in menswear and a discerning sense of style to Kinkead Optical. He comes from a family of creative entrepreneurs and enjoys primitive antique dealing in his free time. When he’s not at the store, he serves as an adjunct clinical educator in the Communication Disorders Department at UNO. Steve enjoys giving customers advice on style and fit.

LE brings a creative and strategic approach to all things branding and marketing at Kinkead Optical Co. With a background in communication and design, she helped shape the store’s identity from the ground up, including its logo, social media presence, and community-facing campaigns. Her work is driven by a passion for storytelling, visual clarity, and helping small businesses find their voice.
