The Timeline
❋ FRAME SELECTION 1-2 WEEKS
We’ l l help you select a frame shape that works best for your face and prescription. If you would l ike to try the frame on before the painting process, we can ship it to you. Please keep in mind that some frames may need to be ordered if we do not have them in store.
Each frame is handmade in Madrid, Spain, and shipped internationally. Keep in mind that they will have to be processed through customs.
❋ FRAME MANUFACTURING 3-4 WEEKS
❋ CUSTOM PAINTING AND LENSES 3-4 WEEKS
Shiri will complete the custom painting once the frame arrives.
Once completed, your custom glasses will be carefully packaged and shipped directly to you. Each frame will come with a case, our cleaning solution, and a cleaning cloth.
❋ FINAL SHIPPING 3-7 BUSINESS DAYS
Estimated total timeline: 8-11 weeks from frame selection to delivery.

Absolutely! We can do prescription lenses, sunglass lenses, transitions, progressives, etc. You can email your updated prescription to alex@kinkeadoptical.com.

You can choose between a smooth option and a textured option (chunky). You can let Shiri know your color preferences like your favorite colors, any colors to aoid and preferences for elements like glitter or neon hues.

Because these are made-to-order and hand-painted, all frame sales are final. However, your lenses can definitely be tweaked or altered.

We accept health savings accounts, health reimbursement accounts, and flex spending accounts. While we do not bill directly to EyeMed or VSP, we can provide an itemized receipt for an out of network reimbursement.

We recommend you clean your lenses with the provided cleaning solution and cloth. Also, keep them in their case when you aren’t wearing them.
